About the Club:
The Ottawa Chinese Language and Culture Club is a non-profit and non-partisan cultural organization with the objective of bridging the Chinese and Canadian cultures. We organize year around activities, such as tea and chat time, celebrations of traditional Chinese festivals, seminars, Chinese movie shows, eating out in Chinatown, field trip, etc. for Chinese language learners and other people who are interested in Chinese culture, as opportunities for them to practice their language skills with native speakers and their peers, and at the same time to meet friends and to experience Chinese culture firsthand.
Membership and Membership Fee:
Everyone who is interested in learning about Chinese language and culture is welcome to join. You DON'T need to be a Chinese language learner. Your significant other is also welcome to join; the more, the merrier! Free for current students of the Ottawa Chinese Language & Culture Academy. A fee of $5 per visit applies for all others.
